Kirchberg is known as the European Quarter in Luxembourg city, due to the fact that it's hosting a number of European Union Institutions, like the European Court of Justice, European Court of Auditors, parts of the European Commission, the European Parliament, the European Investment Bank but also one of the European Schools of Luxembourg. Kirchberg is also home for many office buildings, the Mudam museum of modern art, the Philharmonie concerts hall, Luxexpo, d'Coque sports venue, the Kirchberg Hospital, and many others.
