Strassen may be considered as a quarter of Luxembourg city by locals, but it's actually a commune and town in central Luxembourg, part of the canton of Luxembourg in the district of Luxembourg. Strassen is one of the smallest communes of the Grand Duchy, but due to its proximity to Luxembourg city, it's also one of the most expensive in the country based on real estate prices.
